When a cancer patient addresses me and asks me if, after my consultation, they may go see other doctors, I answer that in critical situations all means must be put in place to make things right. Diet and medication, chemotherapy and radiation treatment can be absolutely ineffective when, at the same time, there have been no profound inner changes. On the contrary, their efficiency may be greatly increased, or they may become superfluous when someone discovers the right inner path.

I remember how, a few years ago, a lady who came to see me told me this story:

- "I got lymphogranulomatosis. I had started a series of chemotherapy sessions. The results of the tests were not very encouraging. I was always sitting with fear in my soul. But then I happened to turn my attention to the children who were suffering. Suddenly I felt so sorry for them, and I felt so much love in my soul that I was ashamed of my own fears and dissatisfaction with the world around me and with myself. I thought: "They are so small and have to face death, but I make a tragedy out of what happens to me. After that, my tests suddenly improved and my body suddenly gave an allergic reaction to the chemotherapy treatment. The doctors had to cancel the treatment, but I recovered without it."

- "God protects the kind hearted." - I thought.
